New electrical installations
Complete electrical installations for new houses and apartments
We build the electrical installation from scratch: the cable routes at first fix, before plastering, then the panel, sockets, switches and lighting at second fix. At the end you get a tested installation and the documents needed for the grid connection.
In short
How a new installation is done
We start from the house plans or from photos and videos of the space. Together we decide where the sockets, switches and light fittings go, then we size the circuits for the real load: hob, oven, water heater, air conditioning and other large appliances.
The work has two stages. At first fix, after the masonry and before plastering, we install the conduits, boxes and conductors. At second fix, after painting, we install the panel, sockets, switches and light fittings.
At the end we test the installation and hand over the panel diagram and the test report, which you also use for the grid connection file.
We use NYM-J and NYY-J copper cables, Hager and ABB devices, Busch-Jaeger or Gira sockets (German Schuko standard), Kaiser boxes and WAGO and Phoenix Contact terminals: only tested products, sourced mainly from Germany.
What is included
- Marking the outlet and fitting points on the plan
- Cable routes in conduit, device boxes and junction boxes
- Copper conductors, sized for each circuit
- Sockets on 2.5 mm² copper cable with a B16 circuit breaker, lighting on 1.5 mm² with B10 (not C16 and C10)
- Connections in junction boxes with spring connectors, no twisted wires and insulating tape
- Busch-Jaeger or Gira sockets, German Schuko standard, with spring-clamp terminals, not screw terminals
- Equipped and labelled electrical panel, with the circuit breakers connected by a busbar
- Fitting of sockets, switches and light fittings
- Earthing system and its connection to the panel
- Inspection, measurements and documentation
Who it is for
When to call us for a new installation
You are building a house
The best time to contact us is after the masonry, before plastering.
New apartment
Extra sockets, separate circuits or changes to the developer's layout.
Full renovation
A new installation from scratch, together with the rest of the work.
New large appliances
Hob, oven, water heater, air conditioning, each on its own circuit.
Commercial space
Office, shop or workshop. See also our page for businesses.
Extension or outbuilding
Loft, garage, workshop or outbuilding supplied from the house panel.
How we work
From photos to the finished job
You contact us
On WhatsApp, by phone or through the form. Tell us what needs doing and where.
We assess from photos or video
You send us photos or a short video. We only come on site if needed.
You get a written quote
Work, materials and timeline, clearly set out before we start.
We do the work and test it
We work cleanly, test everything and hand over the documentation.
Price
How much a new electrical installation costs
We do not give a fixed price "per apartment" or "per house", because every job is different. Instead, we give a clear hourly rate and a written quote before we start. The price depends on the floor area, the number of points (sockets, switches, lights) and the materials you choose.
All rates- Labour from 250 lei + VAT per hour per electrician (302.50 lei incl. VAT)
- A minimum of one hour is charged
- Materials and travel are charged separately, itemised in the written quote
- The assessment from photos or video and the quote are free
- Payment is in lei (RON)
Frequently asked questions
Questions about new installations
When should the electricians be called in for a new house?
Once the masonry is finished and before plastering, for the first-fix cable routes. We come back a second time after painting, at second fix, for the panel, sockets, switches and light fittings.
How much does the electrical installation for a house cost?
It depends on the floor area, the number of points and the materials, so there is no fixed price per house. Labour starts from 250 lei + VAT per hour per electrician, and materials are charged separately. Send us the plans or photos and you will get a free written quote.
What documents do I get at the end?
The panel diagram, labelled by circuit, and the test report (PRAM, the Romanian term for earthing and installation testing). You use them for the grid connection file and for any later work.
Why do you install sockets with spring clamps, not screws?
In sockets with spring-clamp terminals, the conductor is held by a spring, with constant pressure. Screw terminals can loosen over time, through heating and cooling or through use, and a loose contact heats up. That is why we only install sockets with spring clamps in the walls, from Busch-Jaeger or Gira, German Schuko standard.
Do you work from the house plans?
Yes, we start from the house plans. If the job also needs a specialist design, we tell you in advance, before the quote.
